Wave 105 fm RadioNow in its 15th year of leading the music radio market in the south, Wave 105 is bigger and better than ever! There is an old adage that you can’t please all the people all the time. However, managing director Martin Ball and his enthusiastic and loyal team at Wave 105 do just that! IntechA trip to Intech family Science Centre can occupy a whole day but most enjoy half a day including the 100+ hands on exhibits and a trip to the UK’s largest capacity Planetarium! This is a cinema with a vast dome screen. The image is all around you so that the effect can be like floating in space. The planetarium uses state of the art digital images and a cinema standard sound system. It is a unique experience and there are shows for all ages and interests. Paultons ParkPaultons Park is the theme park for families that has more than 60 wonderful rides and attractions included in one admission price – that’s what we like to see! SplashdownThe gang at Splashdown must have the best day job in town! Whenever a new feature opens at the landmark water park on Poole’s fun packed Tower Park we review the site, and they all grin and invariably tell us that they have been trying out the ride – brilliant – remind me to come back as a water park owner! The Bournemouth International CentreThe Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and Bournemouth Pavilion are jam-packed with entertainment and there really is something for everyone! VulcanThe 2010 Bournemouth Air Festival is a proud host to one of the most powerful and dramatic sights in British aviation, a display by XH558, the last flying Vulcan! When XH558 left RAF service on 23rd March 1993, for her new home on the ground at Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire many thought that it would be the last time she would be seen in the air! PooleA visit to Dorset would not be the same without at least a day spent in Poole! Having said that you will be spoilt for choice as some of the most exciting events are held during the evening! Farmer PalmersAfter 15 years of working as a children’s attraction, on what was the family farm – the Palmers have created an attraction that is the envy of the south – they’ve got it all!
