Four years of fabulous food!

Patrick’s restaurant and bar in Lower Parkstone, Poole is a real dining favourite among locals and visitors alike. The team is headed up by Pat himself, who is always on hand to ensure that his restaurant lives up to its outstanding reputation for superb food, fine wines, unrivalled service and great parties!

The modern brasserie-style menu utilises the best local produce, with dishes offering an international influence thanks to head chef Chris Howard who marries simple yet delicious ingredients with an ingenious unique twist. Food is served all day, beginning with a breakfast menu that incorporates the classic full English alongside lighter bites such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on a toasted granary bloomer. The lunch menu offers a fine array of sandwiches and paninis, as well as jacket potatoes, salads and a sizzling selection from the grill, why not enjoy lunch in one of the new booths that are actually in the bar – these are just great at lunch or dine alfresco on the new decking area. This new feature seats up to 16 in ‘picnic’ style configuration with plenty of room for sundowners later in the day as the new outside area faces due west – it’s wonderful! Patrick’s also offers a popular lunchtime takeaway menu between 10am-2.30pm – ideal if you are on your way to the beach or park for a summers’ afternoon.

Dining in the restaurant in the evening is not to be missed while visiting the area; the food is outstanding and the atmosphere relaxed with friendly and attentive service. Patrick’s suits intimate dining but is also the perfect place to accommodate larger groups and parties. Evening mains include; baked fillets of bream with wasabi mash and a pea and lemongrass cream, BBQ spiced lamb rump with minted cous cous and cherry tomato salsa – it is also worth noting that the vegetarian options like shitaki, ginger and red pepper barley risotto with parmesan shavings are tempting for everyone dining, not just reserved for the vegetarians amongst us!

Those with a sweet tooth won’t be disappointed, as Chris is a self-confessed pud lover. His passion shows in the exquisite selection of desserts, from the much-loved ‘Snickerbocker Glory’ to the more elaborate vanilla pannacotta with cinnamon fudge and elderflower syrup.

Patrick’s bar and restaurant is the perfect place to relax with friends, with live music every Thursday night and the ever-popular Friday and Saturday party nights with local DJs. There is a 63” screen for select sporting occasions - once you’ve visited you’ll definitely be back for more. Keep your eye on the Patrick’s web site for weekly and seasonal offers. And why not ask for a Patrick’s loyalty card and let Patrick’s thank you for having fun!
