Poole - the coast with the most, and a host of free events all year round!

Coast with the most - that’s for sure - never has Poole been so attractive, so fuelled with dazzling events on the beach, in the many impressive venues and on the Quay!

Tipped as one of the coolest UK destinations with more coastline, watersports and free family events than any other UK resort - over and above the celeb. spotting, Poole has far more to offer for 2010.

Poole Harbour is Europe's largest natural harbour; a stunning location for watersports, fringed with unspoilt woodland and coastal walks and home to Britain’s best beaches. Poole’s three miles of golden sands include Sandbanks, winner of more Blue Flags than any other UK resort and the town's bustling Quay where contemporary waterside bars and restaurants offer the perfect location to relax whilst watching Sunseekers, yachts and fishing boats take to the water.

Against this spectacular backdrop, Poole hosts one of the biggest and best programmes of free family events in the UK. From April to November, rampaging pirates, classic cars, Sand Polo, Beach Volleyball, Windfest wind and kite surfing festival, Continental markets, family fun and fabulous fireworks see Poole's Wave 105 Summertime in the South events set this unique location ablaze.

Poole's signature event, Summer Breeze with Fireworks, takes place on Poole Quay, every Thursday in July from 7pm. The event hosts live music, street entertainment, family activities and a spectacular fireworks finale. With a great selection of vibrant bars and restaurants on the quay you can really make a night of it.

In August Summer Breeze moves to the beach, every Thursday from 7pm with BBQ's, beach sports, family fun and fireworks.

See opposite page for further details on events coming up over the next few months.
